Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ SCL-CRDS Joint Venture is looking for a Hydraulic Structure /Water Structure Design Engineer for immediate recruitment for subprojects under Small Scale Water Resources Development Project (Phase-2) of LGED.
∎
∎ Duty station : SCL-CRDS Joint Venture office, Dhaka, with field visit to sub project areas as and when required.
∎ Probation Period : 3 (three) Months
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review Detail Feasibility Study report
∎ Undertake hydraulic analysis and give input in the software and run software to obtain Hydraulic structural design
∎ Field visit for detail observation and assessment of the proposed subproject
∎ Design canals and hydraulic structures like retention structures regulator, sluice, embankments, drainage and irrigation channels, irrigation inlets etc.) as required following the guideline
∎ Prepare/guide drawing of structural component using AutoCAD
∎ Identify Geotechnique investigation
∎ Make cost estimate using soft ware
∎ Preparing BOQ
∎ Present Drawing and Designs at Design Discussion meeting with local area beneficiaries and stakeholders within the subproject area.
∎ Finally incorporate all drawings according to guideline and people's opinion
∎ Meet and discuss with Project Consultant (PC) Team at LGED HQ as and when required
∎ Finalize Drawing and Designs on review and acceptance of the Project Consultant Team.
∎ Participate in progress review meeting
∎ Good teamwork/communication skills, fluency in English etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply

∎ At least 10 years of total experience including 5 years experience in water resources subproject planning, drawing and designing of hydraulic structures. Experience with small scale water resources development/management will be an added advantage.
Salary: Negotiable
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ DSA and transport support (if necessary) for detail observation and assessment of proposed subprojects.
