∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of HVAC Design Engineer for employment with our prospective clients working in infrastructure projects such as airports, sea ports, power plants, bridges, mass rapid transit system, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare design for new or replacement heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems specific to the company needs and to building specifications
∎ Develop energy conservation measures and facility improvement measures as part of the design process
∎ Perform thermal loading calculations in order to size Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems.
∎ Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints for new construction projects for drafting new plans to design ductwork and piping systems.
∎ Coordinate with architects and other engineering departments to solve and avoid design conflicts
∎ Calculate and analyze ventilation indexes for various codes to verify that the most stringent standards were met
∎ Research and assist in the development of operation and maintenance manuals for HVAC equipment
∎ Provide budget costs, design drawings of the systems, specifications, and all code required documents for permit
∎ Counsel fellow associates regarding HVAC systems, applications, design and installations
∎ Perform survey and use calculated data to select suitable equipment for the system
∎ Direct and review the preparation of submittal booklets containing schematics, descriptions, technical literature, sequences and operating instructions
∎ Work closely with and answer questions of on-site electricians, and other civil and mechanical technicians
∎ Develop and track project action items, issues and decisions.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years’ experience in HVAC design
∎ Proficient in using computer HVAC design tools, AutoCAD, Revit MEP and IES
∎ Experience of working in multi-cultural environment/multi-national organization(s)
∎ Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
∎ Demonstrated teamwork and adaptability skills.
