Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Occupational Safety & Health
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning safe working practices and making necessary changes to sites as per the HES standard practice.
∎ Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
∎ Follow-up with site safety officers for improvement of HES requirements.
∎ Writing internal health and safety policies/strategies
∎ Drawing up safe operational procedures for work sites.
∎ Making regular site inspections (visit sites).
∎ Providing health and safety training courses for both employees and HES offices at the site.
∎ Collect reports, bulletins, and newsletters from sites regularly.
∎ Organize training on Undertaking risk assessments, reducing risks, safely handling hazardous substances, etc.
∎ Liaising with relevant authorities
∎ Organizing/attending health and safety meetings
∎ Conduct regular safety Audit.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of one year's work experience at a reputed organization in Industrial Safety & Occupational Health, covering areas of Risk Analysis and Incident/Accident Investigation
