∎ B. Sc. in Petroleum & Mining Engineering/Mechanical Engineering from reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ UNIgas has constructed a state-of-the-art LPG Import, Storage, Bottling and Distribution Terminal & a Cylinder Manufacturing Plant in Sitakunda, Chattogram. The Main Terminal is located at Sitakunda in Chattogram and satellite stations are being set up across the country. The company is looking for dynamic, self-motivated and high performing individuals for the position:
∎ Job Location: Mother Plant, Sitakund, Chattogram
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring safety compliance with regulatory body.
∎ Hazard identification and risk assessment & Report and documentation.
∎ Conduct competency training and awareness program about EHS, using PPE.
∎ Making Non-Conformity report and providing it to yards to make them compel to develop the yard within prescribed time limit.
∎ Coordinates all activities related to the loading and discharge of marine cargo as Loading Master.
∎ Presentation to create awareness on about HazMat handling including Asbestos, CO2/Foam, Halon Fire Extinguisher gas.
∎ Assuring the inspections related to the safety and health of the organization is taking place. The equipment’s including extinguishers, fire alarms etc. Safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
∎ Finding root cause of incident in & outside plant & proper documentation & investigation of every incident.
∎ Monitor implementation of safety plans according to plans & objectives.
∎ Monthly Conducting Fire Mock Drill; Fire Hydrant, Fire Monitor Operating etc.
∎ Should be perform some additional responsibilities as like control room operation and LPG ship receiving.
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum two (02) years of job experience in Oil & Gas Sector especially in LPG Plant as HSE Engineer.
∎ Must have a good knowledge on MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & MS Word.
∎ Should have sound communication and interpersonal skill both in Bangla and English.
∎ Certification/Training in relevant fields will be an added advantage
