∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of HSE Advisor for employment with our prospective clients working in oil and gas.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The primary role of the Wells HES Advisor is to have direct influence by way of "BOOTS ON" approach.
∎ To utilize the Stop Work Authority or Time Out for Safety as a means of intervention.
∎ To lead with the mindset that we do the job the right way each time. We always have time to do the job safely.
∎ The HES Specialist role includes but is not limited to the following key job responsibilities.
∎ Attend/participate in all Pre-tour meetings:
∎ Be Brief and Highlight a focus area pertaining to work planned for the day.
∎ Weekly installation meeting.
∎ Participated in Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee meetings and vessel and work area inspections if applicable.
∎ Administer the Project Specific Induction to arriving personnel.
∎ Coach and mentor.
∎ Provide informal HES coaching to all personnel
∎ Daily BBS Participation/ Site Programs:
∎ Participate in the observation program and review of all observation cards.
∎ Communicate and keep top of mind high risk focus areas DROPS, Lifting Rigging, Human and Machine interface, Barrier management etc.
∎ HES Review for morning calls with town. Report status on IFO and daily focus area.
∎ Be involved with JSA's and Pre-job safety meetings (PJSM) throughout the day with all personnel.
∎ Where applicable understand the Short Service Employees program for identified and assigned mentors.
∎ Actively look for opportunities to attend these PJSM - get involved.
∎ Ensure all personnel following procedures and policy's by conducting informal walk about of all operations (drilling, marine, housekeeping, subsea etc. to verify:
∎ JSA's completed signed by all.
∎ Correct tools in use.
∎ Adequate personnel for the task.
∎ SWC (Start Work Check's) being used for specific tasks as required: WAH, Lifting operation CSE, Man-riding, Mechanical - Electrical Isolation / de-isolation.
∎ Fluid Transfers (Mud pits, slot tank, and Brine tank).
∎ PTW requirements.
∎ HOT work activities.
∎ Participated in Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee meetings where applicable.
∎ Inspection of Areas:
∎ Perform Safety audits of on-going activities:
∎ Organize and participate in hazard hunts with all installation/worksite personnel and Business Partner (BP) personnel on location.
∎ Work in conjunction with Installation/worksite HES where applicable to ensure the site is a safe working environment.
∎ Communicate changes in policies, procedures, and practices.
∎ Share safety learnings, alerts with all project personnel both onshore and offshore.
∎ Work with installation personnel to perform safety and process audits and checks on a regular basis.
∎ SIMOP's meetings and Site-Specific Procedures:
∎ Review and understand the Site SIMOPS Plan.
∎ Attend daily SIMOPs meeting.
∎ Focal point of Site-Specific plans when required.
∎ Daily contact point with Installation PIC and BPs on locations when other activities are allowed.
∎ Reporting:
∎ Update the HES Daily Reporting workbook and wellview.
∎ Review and understand all Project EHS Plans.
∎ Report and all incidents/incidents according to the Incident/investigation protocol.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Fifteen plus years' experience in Well HES onsite supervision/leading others to promote safe and efficient operations.
∎ It is required that Contractor has worked in a remote land project or other remote projects requiring he/she to work with individuals from various nationalities / backgrounds and communicate effectively.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Dominant work schedule will be 28 days on / 28 days off basis. Work Schedule may vary as per Company`s requirement. Group life Insurance coverage. Hospitalization Insurance coverage.
