Job Context:
∎ The Health Information System Officer is the key staff at field/ health facility level for Health Information Management ( HMIS), District Health Information System Version 2 ( DHIS 2), Integrated Refugee Health Information System, Early Warning and Alert Systems ( EWARS) to meet reporting requirements for the organization, UNHCR, WHO, and Director General Of Health Services ( DGHS);
∎ The Health Information System Officer will ensure the achievement of complete and timely reporting by health facilities (health centers and health posts) and supporting linkages with CHW data reporting systems in collaboration with CHW Program Officers;
∎ The Health Information System Officer will be responsible for leading HIS tools modifications through revision of existing HIS tools and supporting in the development of new data capture tools, in close consultation and collaboration with the Ukhiya Upazilla Health Complex, UNHCR, DGHS, and WHO, as may be guided by the Medical Coordinator.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the HIS team to ensure HIS tools and reporting systems are implemented to ensure quality reporting deliverables to all reporting requirements;
∎ Analyze and document existing HIS system, processes, and stakeholders to determine gaps and integration possibilities and suggest recommendations;
∎ Develop new tools, online platforms, electronic platforms to support better HIS systems and improve data interoperability;
∎ Support the design, analysis, and implementation of a client registry and a shared health record in consultations with HIS Team, Medical coordinator and partners;
∎ Support the Medical Coordinator to implement strategies to improve the use of health data for clinical and program improvement;
∎ Work in collaboration with the entire program team to support analyze data and comply with reporting and project requirements;
∎ Support planning for and conduct data quality assessments to improve the quality of reports compiled from the field ;
∎ As may be assigned, support in software development to specifications for data ;
∎ Attend and contribute during routine and ad-hoc data management and reporting review meetings at DHGS level and other levels as may be assigned by the Medical Coordinator;
∎ Report to different platforms as may be guided by the Medical Coordinator;
∎ Works closely with the Clinic leads to contribute to building Clinic staff capacity and teamwork;
∎ Keep abreast of environmental, economic, social, political, and religious conditions in the field, and report on such conditions as needed;
∎ Undertake any additional data and reporting activities as may be assigned;
∎ Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support.
