Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead Pharmacy Team by serving as a role model, mentor and coach assisting the Senior Pharmacists, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Aides to promote a culture of participation, teamwork, commitment, job satisfaction and achievement.
∎ Implement and achieve objectives of Hospital Business Plan (in relation to pharmacy) through consultation and management of all stakeholders.
∎ Develop and manage the relationship with key doctors.
∎ Communicate policies and initiatives to staff and assist them through leadership, training and feedback to successfully implement them in the Pharmacy operation. Ensure the team has the skills and abilities to meet role requirements.
∎ Maintain a safe, healthy and supportive work environment by publicizing relevant policies, and events, providing appropriate management tools, opportunities for employee participation and education and Walking the Talk on site.
∎ Provide information reports to the Director Medical Services so that information is available for informed decision- making.
∎ Develop financial strategies by estimating, forecasting and anticipating requirements; aligning resources; developing action plans to minimize impact of variances.
∎ Maintain and conduct a program of clinical and drug use control services by serving on the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee and other medical / hospital committees where input concerning the use of drugs is required.
∎ Keep health care professionals and patients informed by providing a centre for drug information.
∎ Enhance Pharmacy services reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and varied requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
∎ Performs all other tasks as required by the department.
∎ He/She should be part of the quality improvement of JCI documentation process of the hospital.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Must have at least 13-14 years of experience as M Pharm
∎ Must have 13-15 years of experience as B Pharm.
∎ Should be experience in hospital Pharmacy
∎ Must have sufficient managerial skills to handle the administrative responsibilities of the department of Pharmacy.
∎ Excellent computer literacy.
∎ Proven experience in Customer Service is preferable.
