Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering in IPE, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering in Footwear, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
∎ For excellent experience in IE, Bachelor degree will be considered
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and develop production schedules, process flows and engineering specifications accordingly
∎ Plan production facilities, production process and production schedule for productivity maximization, wastage reduction by lean production practices and labor cost minimization
∎ Analyze work-force assignment, facility layout and operational data to determine efficient utilization of employees and equipment
∎ Prepare reports including line efficiency, line performance, changeover effectiveness, capacity utilization
∎ Study and record time and motion, methods, and speed involved in performance of production, maintenance and other worker operations to establish standard production rate
∎ Evaluate and carry out investigation on discrepancies for all actual as well as planned industrial procedures and keep track of all data and ensure integrity of results
∎ Analyze cost of all products and assist to reduce negative discrepancy
∎ Monitor and keep records for daily basis efficiency, skill matrix and machine inventory
∎ Implement innovations to reduce cost and increase productivity
∎ Evaluate effects of product design changes
∎ Design control systems to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure that products meet quality standards
∎ Work with customers and management to develop standards for design and production
∎ Figure out how to manufacture product with maximum efficiency
∎ Develop an IE team, train the production team in IE concepts and advise the management in IE matters
∎ Stay updated with knowledge of industrial engineering procedures and take necessary action according to it
∎ Perform any other relevant task assigned by the supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Sound knowledge about work study & planning
∎ Excellent knowledge in Industrial Engineering
∎ Good communication skills and negotiation skills
∎ Analytical, target oriented and self-motivated
∎ Ability to handle difficult situation and work under pressure.
