Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
∎ Should experience in the following area(s): Distribution/Supply Chain.
∎ Working experience in FMCG, Polymer, Plastic Industries will get extra preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 8 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage logistics operations issues that include depot logistics plan implementation, warehouse and delivery personnel management, inventory management and security/safety/housekeeping.
∎ Build processes and governance and ensure adherence in Distribution houses and warehouses.
∎ Establishes measurement metrics and sets performance targets for all distribution-related functions that align with company objectives and are within regulatory guidelines.
∎ Implements data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies.
∎ Formulating strategy levers focusing key areas.
∎ Monthly/Yearly distribution cost analysis and taking initiative to minimize the distribution cost at every stage.
∎ Preparing distribution budget, fund arrangement, allotment, and cost controlling.
∎ Ensure timely delivery of goods to retailers and exceeds customer's satisfaction.
∎ Maintain FIFO (first in first out) method.
∎ Analysing depot physical stocks, short / excess inventory and communicate corrective measures.
∎ Reducing product damage and finding out the root causes of product damage and taking corrective action accordingly.
∎ Monitor Undelivered DO status, slow and non-moving items and seek advice to management.
∎ Monitoring Logistics support ensuring best service to the customer and taking cost control initiative in this area continuously.
∎ Inventory management as per sales plan and maintaining appropriate stock level at depots.
∎ Ensuring safety and security of the warehouse.
∎ Develop and maintain positive relationships with dealer/customer, ensure customer satisfaction and resolve customer complaints regarding service
∎ Carry out depot development issues and perform any other task as assigned by top management.
∎ Build and maintain liaison and relationship with top anchors.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Good understanding of geography and Bangladesh markets.
∎ Exceptional interpersonal/presentation skills, problem solving abilities, and ability to influence management and complex negotiations.
∎ The ability to create relationships across the organization and team commitment.
∎ Manage to deliver under tight deadlines and to hold people accountable.
