∎ "Head of Business Development" for Hifab International AB, Bangladesh Branch Office.
∎ We at Hifab International (www.hifab.se) are looking for a "Head of Business Development" to join our team of winners. HIFAB is one of Sweden`s leading project management consultant in international development offering services for a wide range of international and national development programmes financed by international and national funding agencies and companies.
∎ If You have:
∎ B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from any reputed institution
∎ Ability of critical thinking and developing new business ideas
∎ Proven project management capacity with the ability to analyse, plan and design projects
∎ Ability to turn challenges into opportunities and act as a problem solver
∎ Proven leadership skills
∎ Record of successful solicitation and completion of projects
∎ Minimum 5-10 years working experience in a relevant field
∎ You will be:
∎ Head of Business Development (HBD) reporting directly to the Director International.
∎ Your role will be:
∎ To develop new business opportunities for Hifab, participate in bidding and win projects for the organization in Bangladesh & abroad and provide technical support to ongoing projects of the Asia region.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Your specific responsibilities will be:
∎ Promoting Hifab and Hifab's activities and networking with potential clients, cooperation partners, consultants, financing organizations and other relevant stakeholders
∎ Maintaining liaisons with Hifab HO, Hifab project offices in Bangladesh
∎ Finding potential national and international opportunities, preparation & submission of proposals, liaison & following up on submitted bids
∎ Assisting in implementation of ongoing project activities regularly
∎ Maintaining relationship management with external expert pool (collection, maintenance and updating of CVs)
∎ Preparing marketing & communications materials, capability statements, EOIs/Proposals/Tenders etc.
∎ Establishing consortia as and when required with set rules for business conduct and marking responsibilities
∎ Drafting & finalizing technical proposals with methodologies & approach and financial proposals with activity-based cost break-down
∎ Developing contracts with clients, development agencies, partners and experts (final decisions and signing would be the responsibility of the Director of Bangladesh Branch Office and the Director International)
∎ Acting as custodian of projects and contacts (persons as well as companies) Database
∎ Performing any other job as assigned time to time for the best intertest of the organization.
