Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop Air Freight business activities in Bangladesh in accordance with DPDHL group business strategy and local business environment. Manage and develop a competent team to lead & achieve progressive business targets. Take P&L ownership of AFR Product and actively advise company management as and when needed.
∎ Interact with commercial team (at country level) in terms of pricing, securing new business, developing customer relations
∎ Defines, implements, monitors and enforces service and quality standards, in cooperation with product management
∎ Determine organizations structure, roles and responsibility and performance targets for the function
∎ Develop Individual Development Plan for all team members and show them clear career path.
∎ Ensure DPDHL leadership culture to lead the team
∎ Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness
∎ Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team
∎ Plan, organize and direct an efficient and effective function
∎ Develop KPI’s with team members and monitor individual performance
∎ Conduct performance appraisal, including coaching
∎ Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department
∎ Ensure reward and recognition for the deserving team member and run GHO/RHO/Country level programs initiated/communicated from HR or from direct line manager

∎ Extensive knowledge of AFR forwarding business
∎ Proven track record in people management role (leadership, motivation and people skills)
∎ Demonstrates strong communication capabilities
∎ Easily capable of making well informed decisions

Salary: Negotiable
