Educational Requirements:
∎ Degree/Diploma in mechanical engineering, preferably worked in power plants.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performs specialized, engineer level work at heavy duty gas turbines in the power and oil & gas industry, including
∎ Evaluation of gas turbine components and recommendation for repair/replacement
∎ Combustion stability analysis and emission monitoring and optimization
∎ Start-up and shut-down of gas turbine and its auxilaries and optimization
∎ Effectively identifies technical or schedule problems and takes appropriate actions to resolve them
∎ Liases with engineering to ensure a continuous flow of information and implimentation
∎ Provides expert advice and technical guidance to staff and technicians
∎ Provides all required documentation and reports in a timely manner
∎ Document condition of equipment, quality assurance and submit report on time
∎ Works closely with site leads, supervisors and fellow employees
∎ Supports site and project managers to maximize customer satisfaction
∎ Adheres to relevant processes and regulations.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 0-3 years Experience in Field Service (new plants/maintenance) and turbine/generator field assembly.
∎ Knowledge of Power Plant industry.
∎ Service work on installed products, maintenance, repair, modification, upgrades and re-commissioning of gas turbines
∎ Knowledge of Siemens gas turbines is preferable
∎ Ability to work independently. Scheduling of own work scope in the wider context of a complete plant outage with many work scopes running in parallel.
∎ Read and speak english language
∎ Basic knowledge of computer (MS office, PDF and e-mail)
∎ Experience in collaboration with multi-cultural teams, working in different customer power plants in Bangladesh and abroad
∎ Knowledge of Industrial safety practice
∎ This is an on-site working environment. Candidates are expected to travel most of their work time.
