Job Context:
∎ We are searching for an experienced Procurement / Supply chain GM/DGM to manage, the company`s uninterrupted supply of all kinds of raw materials, spares parts & Garments accessories responsibilities including strategies to find cost-effective deals with suppliers.
∎ The Procurement/Supply chain GM/DGM`s duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses so that the company can invest in growth and people.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.
∎ Analyzed key drivers, trends and regulations impacting the assigned purchases, as well as made decisions to ascertain reliability of sourcing at the best value for the company.
∎ Supervised overall activities of the procurement team, handled all aspects of their training and conducted periodic performance reviews to maintain a motivated work force.
∎ Establish, manage and improve warehousing and logistics processes and procedures.
∎ Ensure all SOP’s (Standard Operational Procedure) are followed.
∎ Kept existing supply chains smooth and efficient and established new chains while keeping close tabs on applicable logistics and market trends.
∎ Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
∎ Very good knowledge about ERP software.
∎ Must be procure & supply in time.
∎ Devised and implemented short- and long-term procurement plans, policies and practices and effectively communicated the same to team members to ensure achievement of strategic objectives.
∎ Establish ordering system of materials by following EOQ (Economy Order Quantity) considering lead time, MOQ (Minimum Oder Quantity) and last three months’ consumption
∎ To have strong knowledge about planning, monitoring & controlling about supply chain.
∎ Prepare purchase (Local & Overseas) plan and Vendor survey report, Management report, projected budget, etc.
∎ Designing, planning, Executing, controlling, & maintain of supply chain activities of the company.
∎ Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
∎ Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
∎ Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
∎ Examine and test existing contracts.
∎ Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
∎ Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
∎ Monitor deviations from budget, take corrective actions, coordinate physical inventory counts and report to top management.
∎ Create time and Action plan for and follow-up regularly.
∎ Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
∎ Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
∎ Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
∎ Streamline the different systems of warehouse to ensure on timely delivery of goods and information to the concerned department.
∎ Control spends and builds a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
∎ Others special task assigned by the supervisor or Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven working experience as a procurement / Supply chain GM/DGM.
∎ Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in "reading" the market
∎ Talent in negotiations and networking
∎ Good knowledge of supplier or third party management.
∎ Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
∎ Well versed in computer operation
∎ Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
∎ Strong leadership capabilities.
