Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve growth and profitability targets.
∎ Lead cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Technical, Finance) to drive performance.
∎ Identify new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and industrial elevator markets.
∎ Coordinate all import activities related to elevator equipment and components.
∎ Handle Letters of Credit (LC) documentation, negotiation, and compliance with banks and suppliers.
∎ Liaise with port authorities, customs brokers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance and delivery of imported goods.
∎ Minimize demurrage and detention costs through proactive logistics planning.
∎ Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and equipment to support project timelines.
∎ Manage procurement, stock levels, and warehouse operations efficiently.
∎ Forecast demand and align procurement to market trends and sales forecasts.
∎ Oversee the performance of the sales and marketing teams to achieve business targets.
∎ Approve pricing strategies, high-value proposals, and key account negotiations.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with top clients, consultants, and government bodies.
∎ Ensure smooth coordination between technical teams and project managers for timely installation and commissioning of elevators.
∎ Monitor service contracts, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) renewals, and after-sales performance.
∎ Monitor P&L, cost control, budgeting, and resource allocation.
∎ Report financial and operational performance to the board or executive leadership.
∎ Drive improvements in operational efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
