Job Context:
∎ We are looking for General Manager (Commercial)
∎ Job Location Sha-Mokdum Ave Rd, H # 05, Uttara-12, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The candidate should be capable to work independently in an efficient way. He should lead, monitor & guide all commercial members to ensure that Import, Customs, Bond, Licenses, C& F, Cash Incentive, Transportation etc. related Jobs are properly executed.
∎ The candidate should have effective liaison & coordination skills to complete the jobs related to Bangladesh Bank, EPB, Customs & Bonds, Licensing Authorities & other related govt. authorities/agencies successfully.
∎ Monitoring the UD calculation and timely submitting to the authority.
∎ Ensure smooth operation of all import related jobs by providing necessary guidelines to the team members
∎ Ensure Preparation of Import documents for Bank, C&F, BGMEA, EPB, BOND, BOI, Customs etc.
∎ Regularly monitoring & tracking various stages of all imports.
∎ Maintain effective Liaison with Banks, Shipping Line, Forwarding Agents, BGMEA, BKMEA and other organizations in relation to import documentation.
∎ Follow up and maintain commercial reports related to Import activities and submit those to management as per requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s) practical experience in the same Department & total experience more than 20 year(s).
∎ Good knowledge on the bond and customer4s laws with SRO
∎ Successful work experience as commercial manager or another relevant role
∎ Solid understanding of market research methods and analysis
∎ Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
∎ Excellent instincts and commercial awareness coupled with a strategic mindset
∎ Excellent organizational and leadership skills
