Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ MUST have at least 8 years of progressive experience in logistics, fleet management or transportation.
∎ Prior experience in Manufacturing and Logistics.Excellent knowledge of fleet management& transportation procedures.
∎ Requirements include a working knowledge of machineries and operators management.
∎ Excellent analytical skills.Excellent English language (speaking, reading and writing).
∎ Excellent interpersonal & relationship management skills.
∎ Excellent Reporting & Presentation skills.Excellent negotiating and influencing skills.Must have business acumen.
∎ Excellent IT skills to include wide experience ERP MS office suits (i.e. Word, Advance Excel including pivot tables, logic functions and charts and PowerPoint).
∎ Excellent planning and organizational skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage Feedco fleet operations, utilization and optimization end-to-end assuring OTIF operations.
∎ Report on a daily basis the fleet utilization while maintaining operational efficiency as target set by the management.
∎ Ensure fleet mobilization across Feedco business operations (in-bound transportation, out-bound transportation and in-house transportation).
∎ Responsible and managing the control of capturing the operating cost for Feedco’s fleet (per unit, per operator, per trip, per product, per time breakdown).
∎ Manage and assure deployment of the fleet requirements as per the operational integration need at all times.
∎ Develop, qualify and formulate contracts for the approved transporters and heavy equipment’s rental service providers at a competitive prices and terms.
∎ Continuously monitor the market transportation prices, transportation cost drivers and reflect that into Feedco’s fleet & transportation operations to maximize the value.
∎ Manage the relationship with approved transporters and heavy equipment’s rental service providers to obtain operational priorities and competitive prices and terms.
∎ Responsible for coordinating business requirements as per the fleet capacities as well as managing the coordination between internal sections of the fleet & transportation unit as well as other Feedco’s internal cross-functional departments.
∎ Responsible for managing and control the spend and operating cost of the fleet and transportation operations as well as meeting the operational target sets.
∎ Maintain proper fleet utilization, operation log, scheduling, documentation to avoid double handling and costly and timely transportation routes.
∎ Ensure proper control for cargos while in transit from point-of-loading to point-of-offloading at all times by deploying the necessary control measures (i.e. in-transit time, truck seals, truck movement tracking & visualization…etc.).
∎ Responsible to comply with local transportation regulations at all times while achieving business sustainability.
