Job Context:
∎ The Fleet Assistant will be responsible to assist the IRC BD Fleet Manager to manage the Fleet schedule, update necessary documents, verify vehicle log book, fuel consumption reporting, processing of vehicle hiring bill etc. S/he will manage the transport scheduling and communication flow in an effective and compliant manner according to laid out IRC Standard Operating Procedures.

∎ Contract Length: 1 year (with possibility of extension)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the overall mentorship and supervision of the Fleet Manager, Logistics Assistant - Fleet will be responsible for:
∎ Assist to the Fleet Manager to Prepare and Circulation of Weekly Vehicle Movement
∎ Assist to verify of vehicles to ensure of IRC Fleet Compliance before its operational with the IRC
∎ Assist to ensure that vehicles are departing and returning as per the schedule
∎ Assist to verify and monitor of Log Book, Fuel consumption, Vehicle Cleanliness
∎ Assist to ensure that all vehicles are equipped with necessary documents (Reg./Fitness/Tax Token/Insurance) and equipment's (First Aid Box/Fire Extinguisher /Tools)
∎ Ensure that all drivers have updated licensed, signed driver rules, conducted driver test, signed Code of Conduct, had eye tests and all vehicles have spare tires, first aid kits, emergency tool kit, emergency contact numbers and internal vehicle numbers;
∎ Manage the drivers to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with IRC requirements.
∎ Assist to enter of vehicle movement data to the prescribed monitoring sheet;
∎ Monitor driver's performance including behaviors and reports to Fleet Manager for necessary action
∎ Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced for smooth running
∎ Ensure observance of road safety standards; ensure all vehicles are used in accordance with established rules and regulations and that vehicle usage data is correctly recorded.
∎ Assist to Liaise with Vehicle supplier as well as fuel Supplier in any related issue such as requesting vehicles, processing of vehicle rental invoices, Fuel invoices etc
∎ Liaise with finance to ensure compliance and payment schedules of all vehicles, fuel payments are paid
∎ Assist to enter of vehicle movement data to the prescribed monitoring sheet;
∎ Assist to conduct meeting, workshops, hiring of venue
∎ Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 months experience in the same area (Fleet) with an International NGO / UN
∎ Working experience with the Rohingya Response Programme will be an asset
∎ Practical experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
∎ Good Written & Spoken in English
∎ Ability to speak and understand Local Language.
∎ Solid knowledge for maintaining of fleet
∎ Demonstrated attention to details, ability to follow procedures, meets deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members.
∎ Negotiating skills.
∎ Team-working skills.
∎ Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs.
Salary: Tk. 42000 (Monthly)
