Experience:

• 4 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University

• Diploma in Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

• Candidates having a 6-month training course from the Department of Fire Service and Civil Defense/other relevant trainings will get preference.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University

• Age At most 35 years

• Minimum 4-5 years’ practical knowledge of fire detection panels and fire protection systems in any supplier installation company or industry.

• Having practical knowledge of Fire Addressable Shield Panels and Fire Pumps will be required.

• The applicants should have experience in the following areas: Maintenance of Fire Pump, Fire Hydrant System, Sprinkler, Fire Door, Fire Extinguisher, Fire Hose Pipe etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Fire Prevention and System Maintenance

  1. Daily Inspections: Checking fire control panels, smoke detectors, and heat sensors across all floors.

  2. Equipment Servicing: Inspecting and refilling portable fire extinguishers in labs and corridors.

  3. Water Supply Monitoring: Testing rooftop tanks, underground reservoirs, and fire pump house pressure.

• Emergency Response and Evacuation

  1. Clear Exit Routes: Keeping stairwells, emergency exits, and corridors free from student gatherings or furniture obstructions.

  2. Evacuation Leadership: Guiding large crowds of students, faculty, and administrative staff safely down emergency stairs during alarms.

  3. First Aid Response: Providing basic life support and smoke inhalation aid at the designated assembly point.

  4. Coordination: Serving as the primary contact point for the Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD).

• Campus Training and Drills

  1. Conducting Drills: Organizing periodic, campus-wide evacuation drills for students, faculty, and administrative staff.

  2. Volunteer Training: Training campus security guards and student volunteers on operating firehoses and extinguishers.

  3. Awareness Campaigns: Helping design visual signage, exit maps, and emergency contact posters for each floor.

  4. Logbook Management: Maintaining strict records of system failures, drills, and BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code) compliance.
