Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To ensure the successful implementation of the project within the planned AWP together with the Project Manager.
∎ To provide and ensure accurate information on financial status and an appropriate flow of financial resources.
∎ To ensure smooth and transparent functioning, detailed monitoring, and meticulous reporting of project finances of the assigned field areas (upazila and union).
∎ To ensure full compliance with all accounting, finance, taxes, and other laws of Bangladesh  (particularly VAT and Tax regulations of Bangladesh), and the requirements set forth by LAMB, donor and/or partner agreements where applicable.
∎ Responsible for procurement as set forth according to budget of the assigned field areas (upazila and union) as needed.
∎ Responsible for the presence and applications of financial controls.
∎ To provide support to the Finance Officer - SRMNCAH Project as needed and all other relevant financial online and off-line reporting such as monthly closing, quarterly closing, year-end closing, and external audit, spot check, e-face entry, including monitoring review by the development partner.
∎ To effectively manage and support the project staff in a way that fosters professionalism, excellent performance, integrity, and team unity.
∎ Job Summary: The position is responsible for effective financial management and implementation of the SRMNCAH project within the approved Annual Work Plan (AWP), in collaboration with the Project Manager. Key duties include providing accurate financial information, ensuring resource flow, and overseeing transparent monitoring and reporting of project finances in the assigned field areas. Compliance with all applicable financial regulations in Bangladesh, specifically VAT and Tax laws, along with adherence to requirements from LAMB, donors, and partners. Manage procurement according to the budget, support the Finance Officer of the Project as needed, and handle financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings. Effectively manage and support the project staff in a way that fosters professionalism, excellent performance, integrity, and team unity.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Around Tk. 48,100 per month gross. Other benefits include provident fund, festival allowance once per year, and critical illness and death benefit.
