Responsibilities & Context: Requirements Education HSC Experience 1 to 2 years The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO Freshers are also encouraged to apply. Additional Requirements Candidates from nearby areas will be given preference. Must be able to ride a motorcycle. Candidates must be hardworking, target-oriented, and mentally prepared to work in challenging field conditions. Responsibilities & Context A government-approved organization, Jonoseba Multipurpose Ltd. (Reg. No: RAJC-2372), Head Office: Matidali, Bogura; Branch Office: Mokamtola, Shibganj, Bogura, is recruiting Field Officers (Microfinance) to implement its microfinance activities. Interested candidates are invited to apply. Key Responsibilities 1. Member Identification & Group Formation Conduct surveys to identify potential members. Select eligible individuals and enroll them as members. Form center-based groups following organizational rules. Operate and manage microfinance activities at the field level. 2. Loan Disbursement Activities Assess members’ needs and repayment capacity to determine loan amounts. Inform members about organizational rules and policies. Prepare loan proposals for existing and new members. Collect and attach all required documents as per policy. Select suitable guarantors for each loan. Visit guarantors physically to verify eligibility and obtain consent. Arrange approval of loan proposals through supervisors. Submit loan files to the accounts department within the scheduled time. Ensure presence of members and guarantors during disbursement. Confirm proper documentation (original/copies as required). Ensure members receive the correct loan amount. 3. Loan Collection (Installments) Follow up regularly for installment collection. Be present at scheduled collection times. Ensure 100% recovery of installments. Record transactions in passbooks and take signatures. Inform members about their loan and savings balance during collection. 4. Savings Collection Ensure minimum savings collection during loan disbursement. Motivate members to open and maintain savings accounts. Ensure weekly savings collection from around 720 members (Khamarbari Project). Maintain 95% recovery rate of savings over 10 years. Collect regular, voluntary, and special savings during installment collection. 5. Overdue Management Recover all overdue installments. Maintain regular communication with defaulting members. Work as a team when needed for recovery. Take support from supervisors to recover overdue payments.
