∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Facilities Design & Construction Supervisor for employment with our prospective clients working in infrastructure projects such as airports, sea ports, power plants, bridges, mass rapid transit system, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide project management, liaison, inspection, and contract administration services for the design, construction, and modification of industrial, commercial and residential buildings, and structures
∎ Analyze company needs relating to construction projects and develop project scope, design elements, cost estimates, budget, funding and schedules
∎ Liaise with stakeholders and regulatory bodies for approval of the project design
∎ Prepare and oversee the production of sketches, drawings, construction documents, specifications, and reports necessary for a contractor to bid and accurately build approved projects
∎ Assist in preparation of bid packages, administration of bidding process and negotiation of contracts for consultant services
∎ Inspect or review work under construction to ensure that new construction and alteration work being done by contractors complies with plans, specifications and codes
∎ Assure projects are kept within approved budgets and on their approved schedules
∎ Manage and administer all aspects of building construction, modification, or maintenance projects, from preliminary design through project closeout
∎ Prepare periodic reports for the management on the progress of construction projects
∎ Identify and address issues related to construction codes, environmental regulations, energy conservation, and other special requirements
∎ Perform any other tasks related to design and supervision of the construction project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 2 years’ progressively facilities design and construction and/or project management experience
∎ Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (CAD tools, Adobe Photoshop, 3D Studio VIZ or similar)
∎ Experience of working in multi-cultural environment/multi-national organization(s)
∎ Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
∎ Demonstrated teamwork and adaptability skills.
