Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in construction management, architecture, civil engineering or related field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Experience in at least two large-scale construction project specializing in facades.
∎ Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
∎ Proficient knowledge in façade design and construction (Aluminum/Curtain wall/Glazing/Cladding)
∎ Understanding of all aspects of the construction process.
∎ Working knowledge of software's: Microsoft Office, Project, AutoCAD,
∎ Reviewing contractor shop drawings and calculations.
∎ Attending inspections during construction, installation and fabrication on concrete and steel structures
∎ Communicating with design team and Construction manager as well as working autonomously
∎ Cooperate and communicate effectively with Construction manager and other personnel to provide assistance and technical support.
∎ Assist in the overall quality control of the work (schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
∎ Monitor the work progress on daily basis.
∎ Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
∎ Collaborate with design team and engineers regarding the design and cutting lists and shop drawings
∎ Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques. Ensure compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
∎ Coordinate and direct construction workers and contractors.
∎ Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
∎ Evaluate contractor progress and certify claims accordingly
∎ Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
∎ Oversee all onsite and offsite façade constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
∎ Work closely with the Construction or Project Manager on all technical matters relating to the projects;
∎ Assist the project teams with all aspect of project implementation, including but not limited to site and factory inspection, quality, audits, reports preparation, etc.
∎ Responsible for checking the quality and accuracy of own work
