Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors in Finance/Marketing/Supply Chain Management (SCM) from any reputed university.
∎ Any certification course/Diploma in SCM will add value to the position.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial, Export/ Import through L/C, Logistic
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Garments Accessories
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare necessary documents for opening various types of L/C, receiving master L/C, check L/C and advice required amendments within strict time frame. Prepare L/C statement and input data in ERP system.
∎ Ensure smooth opening of L/C, amendment, acceptance, release of shipping documents and payment methods.
∎ Negotiate, coordinate and deal with customs, C&F agent, freight forwarders, shipping line, PSI Company and other service oriented companies for smooth and timely import operation.
∎ Assure import/export regulations and continuous follow up of related papers in regard to safe receipt of the cargo and custom clearance.
∎ Maintain all types of sample, short delivery and wrong goods delivery by the importer/exporter through due process.
∎ Maintain central database against import/export and payment for yearly customs, bank and intercompany audit. Have a good control in maintaining in bond and out bond of raw materials balance with Bond Customs and Warehouse.
∎ Organize placement of goods, resource and ready to in house sustaining 100% accuracy.
∎ Provide staff development and participate in team meeting to ensure import/export objectives in line with annual business plan.
∎ Manage and deal with transport agencies for in house from shipping line to warehouse.
∎ Maintain a good professional relationship with BGMEA & EPB.
∎ Prepare cash incentive proposal for relevant authority.
∎ Manage insurance claim against missing /damage goods in transit.
∎ Prepare & manage export documentation for M&S, Esprit, H&M, Sainsbury's, George, Zara & K-Mart etc. independently.
∎ Prepare local export documents, Bank maturity/ payment follow-up, bank maturity/payment collect from buyer's bank, UD collect from buyer's office and issuance of BTMEA from BDYEA.

∎ Should be self-driven and goal-oriented
∎ Should be good in MS-Office
