Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc./BA/Masters/B Eng. And Post-Graduation in any discipline from any recognized university/ Institution (UGC Approved).
∎ A professional degree in SCM will be preferred.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Professional degree in SCM will be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Food (Packaged), Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Plastic/ Polymer Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Receive indents from the user.
∎ Ensure accurate & on-time order processing as per defined processes.
∎ Conduct market studies to find potential vendors of materials.
∎ Collecting quotations from vendors. Comparing and evaluating offers from different suppliers and manufacturers and preparing a proper comparative statement.
∎ Follow up on the delivery process and ensure timely delivery.
∎ Receiving bills from suppliers, processing bills properly & ensuring supplier's payment
∎ New source development.
∎ Maintain updated records of purchased products, quality specifications, price trends, delivery information, stock levels, etc.
∎ Daily checking of PR/Indent and taking action accordingly.
∎ Negotiation skills, application for purchase through a win-win situation.
∎ Closely work with users i.e., store, production, and all other stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
∎ Work through the ERP process.
∎ Maintaining documentation.
∎ Preparing reports and submit to Department Head/Supervisor (as instructed).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 32 years
∎ Computer Literacy in MS Office and procurement software.
∎ Physical market movement attitude will be given preference.
∎ Negotiation skills, application for purchase through win-win situation.
