Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc. in engineering/ Graduate in any discipline from recognized university.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Professional degree in SCM will be preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Food (Packaged), Plastic/ Polymer Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Receive indents from users.
∎ Ensure accurate and on time order processing as per defined processes. Conduct market study for finding potential vendors of materials.
∎ Collect quotations from vendors and compare offers from different suppliers, manufacturer then prepares proper comparative statements.
∎ Follow up delivery process and ensure delivery on time.
∎ Receive bills from suppliers and process those properly and ensure payment of suppliers.
∎ Identify & Develop new sources.
∎ Maintain updated records of purchased products, specify quality, price trend, delivery information and stock level.
∎ Check daily PR (Purchase requisition) and act accordingly.
∎ Closely work with users i.e. store, production and all other stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality and delivery requirements.
∎ Work through ERP process.
∎ Maintain SCM related documents.
∎ Prepare reports and submit to department head/ supervisor as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Computer Literacy in MS Office and procurement software.
∎ Physical market movement attitude will be given preference.
∎ Negotiation skills, application for purchase through win-win situation.
