Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To prepare health, safety & environmental management plans, review them on a regular basis and keep them up to date at all times.
∎ To conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures on Health, Safety & Environment (HSE).
∎ To provide HSE training and education to employees and management to increase awareness and understanding of HSE policies and procedures.
∎ To develop and maintain safety programs, including emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and safety drills.
∎ To conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to ensure compliance and prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities.
∎ To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of HSE incidents, training sessions, inspections, and other relevant data.
∎ To work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, engineering, and human resources, to integrate HSE practices into daily operations.
∎ To continuously monitor HSE performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to enhance the overall safety and environmental performance of the organization.
∎ To serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies, representing the company during HSE inspections and audits.
∎ To manage the HSE budget, including identifying cost-effective solutions for HSE initiatives and equipment purchases.
