∎ Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in regulatory or related field.
∎ Basic understanding of technical regulation CODEX, Food safety, BSTI laws, HACCP is required.
∎ Strong communication and inter-personal skills, able to work with multiple local & global stakeholders.
∎ Willingness to visit markets, factory and different government office as and when necessary.
∎ Passion for science-based advocacy, self-starter, able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensuring relevant regulatory risk assessments are communicated to relevant cross functional experts to inform strategy on Products, packaging, ingredients, formulations.
∎ Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders at global and local level to ensure business objectives are met through strong regulatory strategy and partnership.
∎ Liaise with external regulatory body who may be required as subject matter experts on specific key activities.
∎ Handles regulatory issues with different government stakeholders like BSTI, BFSA, BCSIR, BIDA, IPHN, CC&I etc.
∎ Assist product licensing, permissions, and related regulatory approval processes pro-actively with full legal compliance.
∎ Be updated on regulatory information on new laws, regulations, internal orders, circulars, SROs, compliances relating to the company’s business.
∎ Prepare supporting documentation for new Marketing Authorizations/Campaigns, advertising and promotional materials developed by Marketing Department and other documents and information as required.
∎ Carry out stakeholder’s identification, strategic mapping and relationship building with government bodies, trade associations etc.
∎ Factory engagement with full legal compliance and any regulatory visit in factory. Closely work with factory team and ensure compliance in Bangladesh factory.

∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
