Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management, Master of Commerce (MCom)
∎ Training/Trade Course: Supply Chain Management

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Export/ Import through L/C, Purchase/ Procurement, Supply Chain
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Cement, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Sanitary ware, Tiles/Ceramic

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies and policies.
∎ Forecast purchase needs.
∎ Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.
∎ Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
∎ Liaise between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments at factory and corporate office.
∎ Expected to co-ordinate with suppliers as well as with internal departments for timely delivery of materials.
∎ Liaising with supplier for shipment schedule.
∎ Benchmarking exercise to evaluate industry trend and new supplier selection.
∎ Build and develop relationships with key suppliers.
∎ Arrange air and sea freight and liaise with forwarders on services and costs
∎ Collect MRN (Material Received Note) from store.
∎ Avoid overstocking at store.
∎ Evaluate supplier performance and create alternative pool.
∎ Ensure effective operation with shipping line/freight forwarder, clearing and Forwarding agent (C&F), follow-up customs operation, and deliver of goods from port to factory site.
∎ Assist superior to produce reports and statistics on spending and saving.
∎ Assist in the operations of purchasing department.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Good interpersonal communication & negotiation skill is required.
∎ Must be proficient in English & have good communication skill.
∎ Good knowledge in Cost-to-serve.
∎ Should have sound computer skill.

Salary: Negotiable
