Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To assist in purchasing materials as and when required.Preparation of purchase orders as per project requirements.To collect quotations & samples from suppliers & shops.Negotiation with the vendors to obtain the best rate & service.Rate chart updating & preparation of the CS.Check the delivery status and ensure timely delivery of materials.Prepare bill & send it to the accounts for approval.Market monitoring & material rate surveys are to be done from time to time.Keep close coordination and communication with suppliers/ vendors for get better service.Software-related data entry. Work experience with SAP will be an added advantage.Other duties & responsibilities are assigned by the head of the department from time to time.
