Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Coordinate all import & local purchase activities including documentation and shipment tracking.
∎ Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
∎ Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality goods.
∎ Evaluate supplier performance and address any delivery, quality, or pricing issues.
∎ Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality goods.
∎ Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
∎ Maintain accurate records of import activities, contracts, and procurement documentation.
∎ Prepare reports and presentations for management review.
∎ Work closely with internal departments such as finance, commercial, and quality control to ensure seamless operations.
∎ Provide support and guidance to team members on procurement and import-related matters.
