∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Steel

Job Responsibilities:
∎ * Functional Activities
∎ a) Receive proforma invoice from In-Charge Import and verify proper documentation and approvals as defined in the SOP
∎ b) Generate LC based on proforma invoice
∎ c) Track LC for amendment requested by supplier to ensure timely delivery and avoidance of additional charges
∎ d) Make Final Assessment documents available post verification to audit and accounts
∎ e) Receive Inspection Certificate of imported goods to ensure quality & quantity as specified in requisition
∎ f) Scrutinize documents pertaining to import and ensure amendments incase of discrepancies
∎ g) Ensure timely clearance of consignments from port
∎ h) Ensure timely invoice processing.
∎ i) Ensure timely update in Oracle system.
∎ j) Ensure all documents updated as per instructions of different regularity bodies.
∎ k) Support In-Charge Import to set targets and handle issues pertaining to meeting service levels of import function.
∎ * Coordination
∎ a) Coordinate with supplier to prepare Pre Inspection related documents as per Govt. regulations when necessary.
∎ b) Coordinate with vendor partner to ensure timely delivery of material to unit
∎ c) Coordinate with Stores to ensure preparation to receive goods
∎ d) Coordinate with accounts for timely release of payments
∎ e) Coordinate with C&F and other agencies for timely clearing of consignments from customs incurring minimum cost.
