Educational Requirements:
∎ At least graduate in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from any recognized university.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Executive Director (Engineering) will be reporting to the Managing Director to perform his designated official responsibilities and shall act as a member of the management team of the Company to assist the Managing Director for overall coordination of ensuring efficient usage of load, system protection, planning and design, project planning, ongoing project management, civil engineering, local and international procurement, integration of renewable energy etc. The incumbent shall be responsible for ensuring compliances of laws, rules and regulations for good governance. He/She is also responsible to assist the Managing Director in negotiating project financing issues with development partners.
∎ General Conditions:
∎ Age limit as on 28/02/2023 is maximum 60 (Sixty) years. The Executive Director shall retire from service on his attainment of 62 years of age but the authority may extend their service up to the age of 65 years.
∎ Candidates passed in the grading system must possess at least a CGPA 3.00 on a scale of 5.0 and a CGPA 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 and passed in the conventional system (class/division) must possess at least 2nd class/division. No third Division/Class or equivalent at any stage of the academic career shall be acceptable .
∎ At least 20 years work experience in the relevant field of which at least 5 years in regular senior managerial position (Superintending Engineer or above) in Power generation/transmission/distribution utilities.
∎ Must demonstrate experience in operation or maintenance of power system and experience in public procurement, etc.
∎ Must demonstrate strong participatory leadership ability.
∎ Must be able to demonstrate knowledge in company laws, labor laws, Total Quality Management (TQM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Preventive maintenance and corporate Governance.
∎ Must have strong communication skill in both Bengali & English (written & verbal) including working experience of using computer.

∎ Company Pay Grade-2 Basic Salary per month Taka 1,49,000.00 and other admissible benefits as per the company service rules
