Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Civil Engineering from reputed Public University having no third division/class at any stage of education.
∎ Preferable from BUET, DUET, RUET, KUET, CUET or any foreign university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 20 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Worked as Head of the Projects Operations team to complete oversight for successful of assigned projects to meet corporate goals for safety, quality, budget, & schedule in accordance with project terms & conditions.
∎ Must have sufficient knowledge on office administration and complete planning/management procedures relating to engineering projects
∎ Co-ordination with the relevant departments involved in the Construction of High Rise Multi-Storied Building Constructions for Private & Government sector.
∎ Capable to make Feasibility study/reports, details projects reports, cost analysis of the construction projects.
∎ Vast knowledge about BOQ to construction works.
∎ Involvement with multiple consultants & contractors for bringing about optimum utilization of resources-labor, materials, plant/equipment & ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms.
∎ To monitor the progress of construction activities such as Civil, equipment fabrication & erection, piping & cable works of the company.
∎ Review & analysis the master schedule of the contractor. Liaise with consultant/sub-contractors to finalize the base line schedule for monitoring the project.
∎ Responsible to complete Project works within the Schedule time.
∎ Capable to submit written daily/weekly Progress Report of the Project to the Authority as per the necessity and/or as per advice of the Management.
∎ Required experience to prepare Work Schedule for the materials materials necessary to complete a specific Project well ahead of commencement of the Project and ensure adequate monitoring system for timely work accomplishment.
∎ Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project site work progress, inspect construction site, check and verify quality and quantity of materials used and ensure accurate calculations of construction materials for timely placement of Requisitions to the procure department.
∎ Project-wise monitoring of profit, loss and expenses of the company.
∎ Must know proper method of selecting experienced vendors of relevant works.
∎ Perform any other jobs assigned by the Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 55 years
∎ Well versed with latest project planning software "Primavera Project Planner "(p6) and others Computer applications such as: AutoCAD, MS Office, Excel, & Others. (MUST)
∎ At least 20 years of practical job experience with reputed Construction Company. Must have ability to supervise multiple high rise building in mega project sites. Must possess strong ability to plan and execute all aspects of construction of high quality modern multi-storied building anywhere in Bangladesh. Experienced in time management for ensuring timely completion of assigned projects.
∎ Must be hard-working, capable to shoulder responsibilities, inspire subordinates with leadership qualities as a team leader.
∎ Knowledge of Bangladesh National Building Code, Real Estate Company's relevant Rules, Regulations and Guidelines.
∎ Must possess vast experience about Structure, Construction, Finishing work and Project Management.
∎ Must be very pleasant personality with excellent communication skills both in Bengali & English and should be able to communicate via email and video conference with various overseas counterparts.
∎ In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.)
∎ Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
∎ The applicants without experience of working in senior level position in High Rise Building Construction of reputed Company need not apply.
