Responsibilities & Context: Customer Reception & Greeting:
- Warmly welcome customers upon arrival.
- Offer beverages or waiting assistance, ensuring a hospitable environment.
Appointment Management:
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
- Maintain appointment records using salon software or manually.
Product & Service Knowledge:
- Explain beauty services, treatments, and available packages to customers.
- Recommend suitable products (cosmetics, skincare, haircare) based on customer needs.
Client Relationship Building:
- Maintain a strong, positive relationship with regular clients.
- Ensure follow-up calls after services or for feedback.
Complaint Handling:
- Address customer concerns or complaints politely and promptly.
- Escalate serious issues to senior management when necessary.
Billing & Cash Handling:
- Prepare and process customer bills accurately.
- Handle cash, card, and mobile banking transactions responsibly.
Coordination with Beauticians & Staff:
- Communicate client requirements clearly to service providers.
- Ensure smooth service flow and minimize wait times.
Salon Cleanliness & Ambience Monitoring:
- Ensure the reception and customer lounge areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
- Report maintenance needs or cleanliness issues.
Record Maintenance:
- Maintain a customer database with service history and preferences.
- Update customer feedback and service reports.
Upselling & Promotions:
- Inform customers about ongoing offers, loyalty programs, or promotional packages.
- Encourage product purchases without being pushy.
