Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA from any reputed University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To initiate the decision-making regarding the procurement of industrial raw materials, chemicals, machinery including spares, etc by comparing prices, costing, shipment schedule, registration, product quality of existing and new suppliers.
∎ Selection of bank for L/C opening including comparing the commission and charges of different banks with L/C credit limit position, application and also make necessary amendment (if necessary) of L/C in order to get an effective L/C.
∎ Selection of C & F agent and hand over the shipping document, L/C and related documents and monitor the status of custom assessment, Port & Agent charge for clearing the merchandise.
∎ Checking and finalization of submitted demand of C & F Agent for Duties, Taxes, Port Charges, Agent Charges and other payments.
∎ Can work independently with government institutes like PSI, Customs and Livestock & others.
∎ Regular contact with factory personnel for checking stock position and quality of newly received raw materials, chemicals, machinery spares, etc. If found any defects or loss of imported goods then claim from the concerned party for settlement of the incurred loss.
∎ Finalization of all C & F Agent's Bill, Insurance Premium Bill and maintain a record of L/C files and costing.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have a very good command over the English language to communicate & understand/complete all Import related documentation and correspondences with suppliers, factories etc. efficiently.
∎ Has to be honest, dedicated and hard working.
