∎ BSc in Civil Engineering including Master's degree in Environmental Engineering/ Sanitation/ Public Health Engineering/ Infrastructure Planning, or relevant Departments.

Environmental Engineering, WASH Sector
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and manage water & sanitation projects ensuring safely managed sanitation is met.
∎ Conduct comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment for various development projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
∎ Lead the integration of environmental sustainability principles into the different projects.
∎ Contribute to the sustainable management and development of complex water systems, drainage networks and groundwater engineering projects.
∎ Lead efforts in disaster monitoring and emergency management, climate-resilient planning, climate change monitoring, vulnerability assessments, coastal engineering, and environmental modeling to enhance resilience in project design.
∎ Contribute to the business development for the new business acquisition in the relevant sector.
∎ Preparing project proposals, budgets and reports ensuring the highest standard of quality.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Profound knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and urban development policies.
∎ A clear understanding of CWIS indicators is required.
∎ Good knowledge of the SDG Goad 6 is required.
∎ Proficiency in relevant software and tools for environmental impact assessment, water, sanitation relevant infrastructure planning, design, monitoring and management.
∎ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
∎ Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and clients.
∎ Commitment to sustainability, resilience, and innovative solutions in urban and rural infrastructure development.
