Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assess project tasks and establish completion timelines.
∎ Monitor the project backlog to prioritize activities effectively.
∎ Site Supervision and Monitoring:
∎ Remain present at the project site at all times to oversee daily operations.
∎ Prepare progress reports and update the Team Leader or Project Executive Engineer.
∎ Ensure contractors adhere to safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality workmanship.
∎ Monitor compliance with local codes and project specifications.
∎ Technical and Engineering Oversight:
∎ Perform engineering tasks per accepted practices and regulations.
∎ Verify that all technical drawings, calculations, bills of materials, and other documentation are accurate and updated.
∎ Arrange and oversee inspections in response to approved requests from contractors.
∎ Project Reporting and Documentation:
∎ Prepare detailed progress reports, accomplishments, and relevant project documentation.
∎ Compile project reports for review and submission to relevant stakeholders.
∎ Supervise the execution of approved plans and methodologies for construction activities.
∎ Ensure all work meets contract specifications and approved plans.
∎ Act as a liaison between contractors, team leaders, and project engineers to resolve issues promptly.
∎ Maintain detailed records of work accomplished and challenges encountered.
