Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering
∎ IEB membership is mandatory
∎ Adequate knowledge on BNBC, ACI, Accord-Alliance-NTPA Guideline, DEA and retrofitting experience, IEB & DMINB accredited

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide guidance to factories in implementing CAPs in satisfying requirements for approval
∎ Review and validation of DEA reports submitted by factories including review and validation of Geotechnical report, Core test report, Rebar test report, NDT report, Floor load plan, As-built architectural & structural drawings, Structural analysis, Design check calculations, Identification of inadequate members, Proposed retrofit design as per National Initiative RMG Guideline, NI DEA Guideline & BNBC.
∎ Review and validation of Design adequacy check report submitted by factories including review and validation of Geotechnical report, Core test report, Floor load plan, As-built architectural & structural drawings, as per National Initiative RMG Guideline, NI DEA Guideline & BNBC.
∎ Review and validation of structural and architectural as-built drawings by on-spot verification through field visits.
∎ Review and validation of Load Plan based on the evidence or other supportive documents by on-spot verification through field visits.
∎ Review and validation of Structural Corrective Action Plans (CAP) through remediation verification visit(s) (RVV) including all building approval documents. Progress made on the Non-Compliance issues claimed by the factories to be verified in CAPs by the service provider through RVV
∎ Provide technical support to the case handlers as required.
∎ Liaison with the all stake holders for successful CAP verification visits.
∎ Submit the Report of visits/inspections to senior engineers on the same day.
∎ Mentoring new engineers on the inspection and reporting process.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 05 years of experience in the field of Structural safety with minimum 02 years RMG experience.
