Educational Requirements:
∎ University Graduate with technical background (B.Sc/Msc in EEE)
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Certification on EMC technology or HP Storage technology or any other OEM Storage technology
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for support on Storage systems - configuration, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Storage systems.
∎ Disaster recovery administration.
∎ Manage security initiatives and processes as they pertain to data storage.
∎ Storage equipment installation/de-installation and relocation of services.
∎ Provide escalation support for all storage-related problems.
∎ Maintain storage problem records and documentation, and operating procedures.
∎ Coordinate all storage monitoring activates to ensure optimal performance.
∎ Responsible for implementing and managing the entry level to enterprise level storage environment.
∎ Install, upgrade, repair, maintain, and retire production and test environments to meet business demands and profile future enhancements.
∎ Configure, Implement, deploy and support technologies including converged systems, NAS and SAN environments, fibre channel switched fabric, and associated physical and virtual servers.
∎ Provide efficient and reliable storage allocation and design archival and recovery procedures.
∎ Develops and implements business continuity practices for storage management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3+ years of experience on storage and backup environment design, deployment, configuration and maintenance in a reputed organization.
∎ Expertise on storage Architecture RAID, SAN, NAS technologies, multipathing, Block storage, object storage.
∎ Require exposure to vendor technologies like EMC VMAX/DMX, VNX/CX, VPLEX, Unity XT SAN storage, SAN Fabric Zoning/ISL: Brocade and Cisco.
∎ Expertise in storage provisioning, capacity planning, zoning, masking, and troubleshooting.
∎ Knowledge on Data Domain, VTL, Backup appliance, Backup software and virtualization.
∎ Good knowledge on storage level data migration, Zone Migration.
