Job Context:
∎ Currently, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for suitable Bangladeshi national for the following position under UNHCR supported "Bhasanchar Operation (BCO)":
∎ Duration of contract: Till 31st December 2023. (with the possibility of extension).
∎ Reporting to: Coordinator, Bhasan Char Operation.
∎ Duty station: Bhasan Char, Hatiya Noakhali.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Technical design and preparation planning implementation and supervision of construction and shelters activities.
∎ Responsible to design project plan and shelters design in Auto cat program.
∎ Supervising of the construction of shelter activities/quality and quantity.
∎ Assist to prepare technical parts of project proposals and reports writing progress reports within deadlines as required.
∎ Checking and controlling all recorded shelters documents.
∎ Responsible to submit the project progress report to the Project manager (Quality and Quantity).
∎ Develop tools for data collection and data analysis.
∎ Prepare quality reports (weekly monthly and quarterly) and submit to the project manager.
∎ Keep and update the filing system regularly.
∎ Carry out other tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years of working experience in a relevant field.
∎ Good Computer skills with architectural design, AutoCAD and software operation.
∎ Organizing, Coordination and Planning skills.
∎ Sound knowledge in subject area.
∎ The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have good personality with leadership skill.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure.
∎ Willingness to facilitate regular field visit.
∎ Fluent in English and Bangla.
∎ Adhere to the 7 fundamental principles of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.
∎ Act at all times in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
∎ Able to work in a team and respects opinions of others.
∎ Honest and high level of integrity.
∎ Assist the organization on occasion, in times of national, international, local emergencies or major disasters.
∎ Age limit : 40 years (age limit will be relaxed in case of the potential candidate).
Salary: Tk. 65000 (Monthly)
