Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Evaluating part and mold data to determine production methods and process parameters.
∎ Leading new product projects on behalf of Production Engineering, ensuring adherence to budget and timeline.
∎ Providing technical support for launching new product projects in overseas operations.
∎ Assessing mold modification requests and ensuring timely application of modifications.
∎ Planning and managing annual maintenance investment budgets for molds and equipment.
∎ Calculating mold capacity to ensure continuity in mass production and addressing production needs proactively.
∎ Identifying and managing mold and equipment investment needs for new factories, both local and overseas.
∎ Conducting cost improvement projects using engineering techniques, such as reducing tonnage, cycle time, material weight, or using alternative raw materials.
∎ Researching new production and mold technologies to enhance process innovation and efficiency.
∎ Executing Six Sigma projects for quality and efficiency improvements.
∎ Identifying risks in mold manufacturing or modification processes and implementing necessary actions.
∎ Utilizing engineering analysis and simulation software to optimize process, cost, and quality.
∎ Preparing technical training documents to share knowledge on molds, production technologies, and processes.
∎ Mentoring and training less experienced team members to build internal expertise.
∎ Ensuring adherence to OHS regulations and Arçelik procedures for safe and sustainable practices.
∎ Working in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 14064-1 standards for quality and environmental management.
∎ Coordinating with relevant units to meet national and international legal and environmental standards.

∎ Role Overview:
∎ The Engineer – Production Engineering is responsible for developing and sustaining efficient production processes for existing and new product projects.
