Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed Public/Private University.
∎ Educational qualification is not mandatory if you have specific experience of Airport Baggage Handling System Installation work.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate between projects and other relevant departments
∎ Execution of Mechanical work specially Airport Baggage Handling System (BHS).
∎ Ensure overall Quality control in the projects as per standard
∎ Ensure site and worker safety and security
∎ Prepare materials purchase requisition, detailed project budgets and estimation of the Bill of Quantity (BOQ) & Materials of Quantity (MOQ) of the projects
∎ Prepare and Implement airport site Implementation plan for projects, by using MS Project and preparing variance report of each project with probable solutions
∎ Preparation and implementation of project schedule as per targets set by Management
∎ Schedule training programs and Provide training to the workers and guide them to increase skill to ensure high quality construction
∎ Control wastage of materials during execution of work
∎ Maintain checklist for finishing works, work sequences
∎ To be accountable for the successful completion of project
∎ Check contractor's bill
∎ Report project status and progress report of the construction activities on a regular basis to the PM/DPM/Manager Construction
∎ Other duties and project related Construction Management as assigned by the Management time to time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 35 years
∎ At least 2-3 years (Specifically Airport Baggage Handling System Installation work)
∎ Local & foreign candidate can apply.
∎ Engineering Firms
∎ Experienced in Airport project mechanical work.
∎ Project Management, Drawing, BOQ, Prepare work schedule
∎ Maintain liaison with Project Co-Coordinator, Purchase/ Procurement, Head Office Personnel
∎ Able to forecast Project engineering schedule
∎ Billing and Estimate
∎ Vendor management
∎ Site Management
∎ Should be able to manage highest quality Baggage Handling System installation work.
∎ Should be experienced in handling large projects with 1 or more basements
∎ Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MS Project, QC & Compliance
∎ Quantitative analytical ability and Strong leadership skill
∎ Strong follow-up and persuasive skills
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Must have knowledge on map operation, plotting.
∎ The candidate must have worked practically on-site as a Project Engineer and managed all paperwork, has knowledge of procurement, site management, labor management, materials and construction
∎ Ability to work under pressure
