Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Architecture, Fire, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering
∎ IEB membership is mandatory
∎ Professional knowledge on BNBC, NFPA, Accord-Alliance-NTPA Guideline.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide guidance to factories in implementing CAPs in satisfying requirements for approval
∎ Review of documents related to Fire License, fire safety plan , coverage of fire license, single fire safety management system in case of multi tenancy, boiler license, boiler operator license, records of fire drills, periodic checking of fire pump or hydrant system, records of periodic checking of alarm call points, alarm & detection system, extinguisher log, fire door, fire extinguisher, signage, ISLE mark, escape route etc.
∎ Review and validation of Fire Alarm design submitted by factories in accordance with the BNBC and RMG Guidelines.
∎ Evacuation plan review & validation including (Portable fire extinguisher plan, necessary width of exit- entry road to the premises. Review and validation of the emergency evacuation plan).
∎ Review and validation of design of fire separation system of production building, generator room, sub-station room, switch gear and boiler room submitted by factories in accordance with the BNBC and RMG (NTPA) Guidelines.
∎ Review and validation of design of hydrant System and water and reservoir submitted by factories in accordance with the BNBC and RMG Guidelines.
∎ Review and validation of Fire related Corrective Action Plans (CAP) through remediation verification visit(s) (RVV). Progress made on the all Non- Compliance issues claimed by the factories to be verified in CAPs by the service provider through RVV.
∎ Submit the observations/report from factory visit to senior engineers within same day.
∎ Mentoring new engineers on the inspection and reporting process.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of fire safety with minimum 02 years RMG experience

Salary: Negotiable
