Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc. / Diploma in Electro Medical Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Approving new equipment by conducting tests, ensuring adherence to codes and making modifications if needed
∎ Installing new equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating and testing performance in hospital
∎ Maintaining equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, conducting tests and troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions.
∎ Calling for special equipment service, evaluates service contracts and maintains equipment inventories and logbook.
∎ Evaluating proposed equipment by conducting tests and evaluations.
∎ Improving equipment performance by studying machine-patient interaction, conferring with equipment users, developing modifications, and collaborating with vendors or manufacturers.
∎ Maintaining supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
∎ Providing technical support, training, and education for other personnel and clinicians on how to use the biomedical equipment and devices safely and effectively.
∎ Ensuring that the all equipment (in context to Radiology & imaging, OT, ICU & CCU, Ophthalmology, Laboratory, Blood transfusion, Dialysis, Dental unit etc.) and devices are functioning correctly and safely.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum Two years' work experience at the department of Electro Medical Engineering in a reputed hospital.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30500 (Monthly)
