∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Energy Efficiency Engineer for employment with our prospective clients working in infrastructure projects such as airports, sea ports, power plants, bridges, mass rapid transit system, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Apply engineering principles and tools to develop energy distribution systems that operate efficiently for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
∎ Analyze primary energy systems and make recommendations for ways to reduce energy usage while increasing energy efficiency
∎ Perform energy modeling, measurement, verification, commissioning, or retro-commissioning
∎ Conduct jobsite observations, field inspections, or sub-metering to collect data for energy conservation analyses
∎ Conduct energy audits to evaluate energy use, costs, or conservation measures and promote awareness or use of alternative or renewable energy sources
∎ Direct the work of contractors or staff in the implementation of energy management projects
∎ Inspect or monitor energy systems, including heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) or day lighting systems to determine energy use or potential energy savings
∎ Manage the development, design, or construction of energy conservation projects to ensure acceptability of budgets and time lines, conformance to regulatory requirements, or adherence to approved specifications
∎ Identify energy savings opportunities and make recommendations to achieve more energy efficient operation
∎ Conduct research or collect data on renewable or alternative energy systems or technologies such as solar thermal and photovoltaic energy
∎ Review architectural, mechanical, or electrical plans and specifications to evaluate energy efficiency or determine economic, service, or engineering feasibility
∎ Analyze, interpret, or create graphical representations of energy data, using engineering software
∎ Write and implement energy management routines for building automation systems; prepare project reports and technical documentation
∎ Perform any other tasks related tasks as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years’ experience in similar position
∎ In-depth knowledge of relevant computer software packages
∎ Experience of working in multi-cultural environment/multi-national organization(s)
∎ Good command over written and oral English skills
∎ Demonstrated teamwork and adaptability skills.
