Faisal in the year 1984 setting up a most modern and state of the art composite weaving and dyeing factory namely Saiham Textile Mills Ltd. (STML), in Bangladesh. Later on, the Group expanded it?s horizon in the industrial sector by setting up it?s second unit of Saiham Textile Mills Ltd. (Spinning Unit), Saiham Cotton Mills Ltd.(SCML), Faisal Spinning Mills Ltd.(FSML), Saiham Knit Composite Ltd.(SKCL) and lastly in the real estate sector namely Saiham Properties (Saiham Tower) an iconic under construction building in the capital city.
At present the Group has almost 155000 spindles of spinning capacity producing different types of cotton, synthetic and blended yarn with annual production of 30000 MT of yarn. The Group is awaiting completion of expansion in the form of FSML unit-2, amounting US$ 22.0 Million which will add another 48000 spindles and enable the Group to produce the value added product and cater to the fancy yarn demand. In addition the apparel production capacity of SKCL a concern of the Group is 35.76 million pcs garments.
The industries of Saiham Group are all located in Saihamnagar, some 135 Km North East of Capital Dhaka. It is surrounded by the lush green tea gardens and has the road and rail linking with the whole country. Mostly all of the entities has their own Captive Power Generation as Habigonj Gas Field one of the largest Gas Field in Bangladesh is 7 km away from the locality. Moreover, quiet a few new Gas Field has recently been discovered and awaiting drilling/distribution. In all the area is situated between a good gas reserve and Gas Field. Moreover, there is also the Rural Electrification Board, which is giving away electricity connection for domestic and industrial usage. There is also a Post Office, Primary and High School within the locality and also a College/University within 10 minutes drive from the locality.

In spite of it?s location away from Dhaka the whole system is radio linked and real time ERP is already implemented and going through further development. SCML was awarded ?Best IT user in textile sector? by BASIS in 2005.
