Responsibilities & Context:
Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting in electronic circuit boards (PCBs) used in machines and control system
Identify defective components such as ICs, resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, relays etc.
Replace damaged or faulty electronic parts with correct equivalents. Rebuilt or rewire PCB tracks damaged due to burning or corrosion
Test repaired PCBs under simulated load or actual machine conditions before handover.
Ensure repaired boards meet manufacturer standards and performance requirements.
Provide technical support to maintenance team for installation of repaired boards in machines.
Assist in preventive maintenance of control panels and electronics modules
Maintain spares PCB and component inventory
Maintain detailed repair logs for each PCB
Identify repetitive PCB issues and suggest design improvements and preventive actions.
