Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and oversee the installation of electrical systems for bridges, including lighting and power distribution.
∎ Develop and implement traffic signal systems, smart road technologies, and automated toll collection systems.
∎ Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, national codes, and environmental standards in highway projects.
∎ Supervise the installation and maintenance of highway lighting, ensuring energy efficiency and visibility.
∎ Coordinate with civil engineers and urban planners to integrate electrical infrastructure with road construction.
∎ Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues during and after project execution.
∎ Plan and implement backup power solutions, such as solar panels and generators.
∎ Estimate costs, prepare technical reports, and assist in budgeting for electrical components.
∎ Research and integrate smart traffic management systems to enhance road safety and efficiency.
