Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and develop electrical and fire protection systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with BNBC 2020, IEC, NEC, ANSI, NFPA, and other applicable standards
∎ Design of different electrical components of buildings e.g., cable, switch, socket, circuit breaker, distribution board, sub-station, generator, single line diagram etc
∎ Develop lighting designs using DIAlux/similar software for various types of buildings, including residential, commercial, and institutional projects
∎ Conduct load calculations, prepare detailed design drawings, and specifications for electrical and firefighting systems
∎ Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into building designs
∎ Perform site visits to assess existing conditions, ensuring designs meet client and regulatory requirements
∎ Prepare technical documentation, including reports, project proposals, and design calculations
∎ Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors.
∎ Provide technical support during the construction phase and conduct inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications
