∎ • NEBOSH OHS certificate & EHS Auditor qualification

Job Context:
∎ • Combined Cycle Power Projects with EPC as EHS Supervisor
∎ • 5 years of experience in Heavy Duty Gas / Combined Cycle Project
Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Monitor the effectiveness of the site related rules defined in the Site EHS plan and revise as necessary to keep up to date, in consultation with the Site EHS Manager
∎ • Ensure effective implementation of EHS management system including policy, plans, training, effective risk assessment, inspection, auditing, event management and analysis
∎ • Ensure effective implementation of GE standards and procedures at site, including the effectiveness of safety related processes owned by others such as commissioning
∎ • Ensure the Permit-to-Work processes are fully implemented
∎ • Ensure appropriate actions are taken in the event of non-compliance
∎ • Providing EHS support and guidance to Construction/consortium on site team members for controlled risk management for all project activities
∎ • Ensure an effective EHS subcontractor management and audit program is maintained to monitor compliance with all relevant site EHS requirements
∎ • Responsible for coordinating and providing activity based EHS trainings for the site Employees.
∎ • Responsible site induction program for all the person entering project site
∎ • Ensure effective EHS communication to all site personnel
∎ • Ensure effective implementation of the site risk assessment process. Ensure an effective review of GE & subcontractors EHS documentation (e.g. method statement and associated risk assessment) against GE, Client and regulatory requirements
∎ • Ensure that all EHS events are reported, recorded and analyzed
∎ • Ensure full implementation of a just and fair culture in terms of reward and discipline at site
∎ • Implement and maintain effective emergency plans, security programs and site access control procedures
∎ • Report all incident to site EHS manager and Site manager immediately and support in completion of incident investigation.
∎ • Complete Weekly EHS inspection and register in inspections Tool or other specified by Business Leader.
∎ • Provide EHS awareness through Tool box talks, safety talks and bulletins.
∎ • Educate / coach foreman /workers on EHS to ensure safe work place.
∎ • Inspect Contractors for EHS compliance and report deviations.
∎ • Maintain appropriate records and documentation for the duration of the project
∎ • Actively participate in the continuous improvement processes, by providing EHS-related feedback to the site team and in ERS when relevant
∎ • Maintaining material safety datasheets (MSDS) on hazardous material used in the work place.
∎ • Responsible for any other assignment given by EHS Manager regarding the Health, safety, Environment and training on the site
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 55 years
